After being the victim in a runaway groom wedding Lux goes into a stump and moves in with her older sister for support, her older sister is married to a man who had a son in a previous marriage the husbands brother (Kirk) recently tried to commit suicide and has now also just moved in causing things in the house to be tense, crowded, and nosy. Lightly weeds meets little miss sunshine based.
